Environment and thermal path

Service temperatures, altitude derating, heat sources, contact paths, convection assumptions, touch limits, and cold-start behavior.

Materials and interfaces

Property availability at condition, creep, differential expansion, chemical compatibility, cold brittleness, and process fit.

Structure and retention

Load paths, stiffness, bosses, snaps, press fits, fastener preload, pullout, drop energy, and missing fatigue evidence.

Sealing and contamination

Ingress path, compression control, sealing surfaces, fastener penetrations, pressure equalization, and post-aging verification.

DFM and assembly

Draft, wall transitions, ribs and bosses, access, assembly direction, mistake-proofing, process constraints, and inspection.
